Shiny Mathew is a nationally recognized tax attorney, accountant, and speaker who has presented over 400 times to people all across the nation. Shiny is a sought-after speaker and educator on topics ranging from tax policy and business leadership to branding, ethics, and economic theory.

She helped to build one of the nation’s largest tax resolution firms with over 130 employees across the nation. Over the last 15 years she has been
featured on television, radio, and in print as a trusted voice on tax-related issues.

Shiny has a deep passion for problem-solving and service and her career, centered around helping others, began as a math tutor in college after one of her math professors saw how proficiently she helped her classmates understand the concepts being taught. She was also selected as a Supplemental Instructor for a college level math course, while she herself was still an
undergraduate college student. She moved into accounting in 1999 when she accepted a position with a manufacturing company as an accounting assistant and later after graduating from college she became an accountant. Her experience as an accountant is one
reason she felt called to go to law school. She wanted to utilize her knowledge and skills to help others.

As a tax attorney Shiny’s
work was centered around helping small business owners and self-employed professionals navigate difficulties with the IRS. Shiny’s passion for helping others was her inspiration for launching a new business- IRS Blueprint™ – where she creates content to help people understand the IRS and what to do when they are facing an issue with the IRS.

On top of her work as a tax attorney, Shiny also loves serving the community and created an organization called Maximize Your Shine® which aims to help people maximize their God-given potential with their life. One initiative she created is bringing
people who want to volunteer together with non-profits in need of volunteers to complete projects. Shiny is also currently serving in
her third-term as a State Commissioner for the Commission on the Status of Women, as well as serving as the Treasurer for the
Oklahoma First Lady’s “Friends of the Mansion” board which oversees the finances of the Governor’s mansion, and as a Trustee for the Oklahoma Bar Foundation, with the goal of helping to provide access to justice for underserved communities.
