Meet the founders of the OKC Women in Leadership Conference
Donna Miller, MBA, SHRM-SCP, is the Corporate Vice President of Human Resources for Lopez Dorada, one of the leading suppliers of protein to the quick-service restaurant industry. A seasoned executive and entrepreneur, Donna brings more than 30 years of experience leading human capital strategy, organizational transformation, and executive development across complex, multi-site organizations, including Fortune 500 environments.
Prior to joining Lopez Dorada, Donna served as Senior Director of Human Capital Management at Xyant Services, President of the Executive Resource Center, and CEO and Co-Founder of Purse Power, Inc. She is an award-winning talent management consultant and a formally trained executive coach, known for building scalable people strategies that drive performance, inclusion, and leadership readiness.
Donna holds an MBA in Organizational Development from the University of Colorado Denver and a BA in Business Administration and Psychology from Baylor University. She also earned a Certificate in Women’s Entrepreneurship from Cornell University. Her leadership and service extend well beyond the workplace; she has served as Midwest Chapter Co-Chair of the Women Presidents’ Organization, as a Board Member of the YWCA, and as an Advisory Council Member for the Oklahoma Commission on the Status of Women.
A passionate advocate for advancing women in leadership, Donna is a Co-Founder of the Women in Leadership Conference at Oklahoma City University and co-chaired the Oklahoma event for the 2020 Women on Boards National Conversation on Board Diversity. She also co-founded the Senior Organizational Development Association of Oklahoma (SODA) and has served as moderator for the Senior Executive Human Resources Forum.
Donna is a three-time honoree of The Journal Record’s Woman of the Year – 50 Making a Difference award and was inducted into the Circle of Excellence in 2020. She has also been recognized as one of the Oklahoma Hospitality Club’s Ladies in the News (2022) and named among The Journal Record’s Oklahoma’s Most Admired CEOs.
