Necie Black is third eldest of eight children and shared responsibility of caring for her younger siblings. At an early age she learned to lead and resolve conflict. She excelled in school and despite becoming a teenage mom, she overcame stigmas and began a journey of manifesting her best and most authentic self, in and out of the workplace.

After more than 27 years with AT&T, Necie founded Lyfe Smarts Coaching and Consulting, a platform cultivating stronger relationships and boosting productivity through self-care. Necie has a unique combination of strengths clarity, self-awareness, and interdependent thinking that makes her a sought-after coach, consultant, and mentor.

Necie is a Certified Master Coach, earned her PCC credential with the International Coach Federation, and holds a Master’s in Business. Sheis secretary of the Alpha Upsilon Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and serves as Executive Director with Dress for Success Oklahoma City, a non-profit helping women achieve economic independence so they can thrive in work and in life.
