Deanna Farmer serves as Enable Midstream Partners’ Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer. In this role, she oversees corporate support functions including Human Resources, Information Technology, Learning and Development, Corporate Communications and Community Affairs, System Operations, Facilities, Corporate Administrative Services, and Security.
Farmer has spent the majority of her career specializing in energy, specifically focused in the oil and gas segment with experience ranging from E&P to transmission pipeline. Before joining Enable in 2014, Farmer held executive positions at Chesapeake Energy and Access Midstream, including Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Corporate Services. She has also served in a number of leadership roles, including Chief Financial Officer and Controller at Columbia Natural Resources, NiSource, and Columbia Energy Group.
In addition to finance and information technology, Farmer has experience in acquisitions and divestitures, corporate integration, process re-engineering and organizational change and development. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from West Virginia State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Farmer is a former board member of the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber, serves on the Advisory Board of the Greater Oklahoma City Women’s Energy Network, Advisory Board of Oklahoma Women in Technology, and has been recognized as one of the 50 Most Powerful Women in Oil and Gas by the National Diversity Council for three years, as well as one of the 25 Influential Women in Energy by Oil and Gas Investor in 2018.
