Robert L. (Bob) Mills

Founder and President

In 1971, Bob, and his then partner, opened the first furniture store in South Oklahoma City. In 1972, Bob’s partner left, and at 23 years old, Bob began his furniture career by himself. In 1994, Bob Mills Furniture built a 250,000 square foot complex with warehouse and showroom facilities at 3600 W. Reno. The Oklahoma City facility continues to expand and has become one of the largest furniture facilities in Oklahoma.

Over the past 11 years, Bob Mills Furniture has grown to include 8 stores located in Amarillo, Lubbock, Midland, Odessa, Temple and Waco, Texas, along with the newest store in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Bob Mills Furniture continues to expand and grow.

Bob and his wife, Margaret, make their home in Oklahoma City. They have 3 adult children, Bryan, Tuesday, Chris and a St. Bernard, Bentley. All 3 children are integral parts of the daily operation of Bob Mills Furniture.

Bob attended Southwestern State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma where he earned a Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration and Music.
