The woman who lifted me up and quite literally kickstarted my career is my first dance teacher (at 19) and our story is unique because of my late starting age for dance and the way her kindness impacted the trajectory of my life and everyone I have taught.
Kathleen’s story: I was going through a corporate separation which proved to be a very difficult time in my life. However, sometimes others see things in you that you don’t see in yourself. Terry Neese provided me an opportunity to mentor a woman from Afghanistan which, in turn, improved my overall well-being. In helping others, you help yourself.
